We've been breeders for about 4 1/2 yrs. We buy our wire in
Houston, by the roll, from a distributor. It costs about
$200 a roll, depending on color. My husband makes all the
fancy cages and uses several different colors on each cage.
I don't know of any way to coat plain wire with the vinyl
stuff, but if you did that it would probably be VERY
expensive. Somewhere in the archives I think someone gave
the address of a company up north that ships coated wire.
If you'll email me directly I'll give you the name of the
company in Houston we use, if you want it.
