Very good advice from Maria. One of my customers bought a
young female to eventually introduce to his older male. He
had them in separate cages but close enough to reach through
and touch each other. Every thing seemed to be going OK,
then after about a week, very late one night, his male reached
through the wire of both cages grabbed the little female's
arm, pulled it through to his cage and bit her so badly that
she bled to death!! Horrible, horrible.
I had cautioned him about the introductions and he THOUGHT
everything was going to be OK.
So, everyone that introduces a new glider to an established
one, PLEASE be very careful.
