If you read further in the archives, Bourbon gives some great advice about pocket-tees. It's great info and will give you a start on the bonding process (I used clothespins to hang my pocket tee in the cage). Anyways, once you've read up on the t-shirt idea and have one hanging in the cage, your baby will go into the pocket to sleep. So as my baby is asleep during the day, I then unhook the t-shirt and carefull slip it over my head so that I'm wearing it and he can hear my heartbeat and get used to my smell. I can now just scoop him up and place him in the pocket, but I still have to pinch it closed until he settles in or he'll try to get out. Past posts provide wonderful info on everything. Good luck!
