i know there is at least one breeder in NJ,,,that is the closest i have found to MD... but didn't look any closer to that either...lol...also as far as i know they are legal in MD, but you should check with your township as well, they might have special regulations.....the only states i am sure of them not being legal is MASS, and CA...there is one more further south of you, but can't remember which one. hope this helps you out any
