I'm not an expert or anything, but it seems like I remember reading that some people had gliders who lost hair on the tail due to diet. I can't remember specifically what the deficiency was, but I'm sure its somewhere in the archives. Or maybe someone will be really nice ;) and repost it. Good luck! Wish I could help more!
