: : The repsponses I recieved, apparently from the same person, NOT! I always use my real name... : : did NOT impress me. I put a message on the this page for : : advice on sugar glider mannerisms in captivity Then ask about mannerisms in captivity... : : and I get attacked because I sound like someone who is looking for a "fad" pet. Then don't sound like someone who is looking for a "fad " pet : : The insinuant tone was also less than appreciated. I am : : NOT on the hunt for a disposable pet. Once you own one and find out more you will discover how many people don't consider all of the responsibility... In fact, you may find that the first one you get is from someone who did not know all of the facts BEFORE owning one... BTW, they don't pee much, just usually when you first take them out. If you search the net you will find one person who potty trained his when they first come out, can't remember where I saw it. An they have a tendency to poop throughout the time they are out and about. The poop is usually like small pellets and will vaccuum up quite easily. SGs run around most of the time they are out. They will come back and check to make sure you are still around, but are quite acrobatic and curious about their surroundings though. You will find that many things must be put away and other adjustments made when they come out... Search the net for more.. Sincerely, Larry Hardy : : Sugar Gliders are not yet legal in my state (NSW) yet, but : : maybe in the future, I hope so. : : Again, I ask for people who have sugar gliders if they would : : kindly tell me what types of mannerisms they have, do they : : run around like rockets or do they sit still in one place : : and exactly how much will a SG 'poop and pee' whilst out : : of it's cage and how much would end up on it's owner. : : Unkind replies are not welcome : : Crazyfoot : ) : : I hope to finish the MANNERISMS section of the GLIDERPEDIA soon. As always I am terribly busy and have to leave in just a bit for Denver...
