Reptocal has Vitamin A (fat-soluble) in it, which in excess can cause liver damage. You don't need to give supplements everyday to prevent hind-leg paralysis. A small pinch once or twice a week at most. You can continue to give small amounts of glider booster, but instead of Reptocal you should use Rep-Cal. Rep-Cal contains ONLY calcium and vitamin D3 (necessary to process the calcium.) In order to get my gliders to eat it, I mix it with baby cereal, fruit juice, and honey. Sometimes I will add ohter things like pedialyte or wheat germ if its handy. They seem to like this mixture a lot. Other ways to provide additional calcium include nonfat yogurt, gut-loaded crickets and fuzzy mice. Please visit my page for more diet info. : Please help, advice is appreciated.
