Take them to a neutral place or room that neither has played in.. Be sure they have plenty of room to run away if necessary. that is the easiest, safest way that i have seen so far. that way neither one has their territory to defend. so each one thinks they are the intruder. Also you may want to pace a little vanilla extract on your hands so they both have the same smell..
