Nikki-
Bourbon often says "daytime is bonding time, nighttime is playtime". Which is correct.
The behavior that you describe is 100 normal for playtime. If you work more on your bonding time you may see it refelected in playtime.
You are being boring during playtime. Gliders are busy, busy, busy. Play with your glider by gently tossing a poker chip or plastic bottle cap aross the bed (or floor, if you have a floor glider like I do). Put your glider on the tallest place in your room and pretend to wall away - see if he will jump to you. Swing a string with a bell back and forth. Gliders are attracted to moving objects. Don't forget to have meal worms or some sort of treat handy during playtime.
Have fun!
