Our little male's spot started showing when he was about 3 months old and was clearly there at 4 months.
Each one is individual in it's development so it's hard to say about ALL boy gliders.
The pouch on the female isn't real obvious, I think you'd have to look for it.

: Just have a hmmmm.. kinda question for you guys. How old is a male glider when they usually begin to show a bald spot? And also how obvious is the pouch on a female, or is it pretty unassuming looking?
