I don't know for sure, but I have heard that the trick to keeping a sugar glider friendly is not to let him see another sugar glider. Right now he thinks he's a human, your son.... another sugar glider will give him someone to relate to and he won't need you any more. My little guy is only 2 months old, so I don't have first-hand experience, but that is what I've heard. Good luck!
