: So recently I've noticed people saying not to cut the grooming
: nails on gliders hind legs. Why not? I've always cut my gliders,
: they get really long if I don't and they start to split. My gliders still
: groom with short nails. I just don't get why everyone thinks this is so
: detrimental to your glider.

I've had my glider for a little over a year, and his grooming nails have stayed the same. They are not growing and they are never sharp.I guess if they are getting really long and hanging up on things you should trim them.I guess some gliders grooming nails grow and others do not.
