Both will bite and draw blood (mine!!!) What are the best ways to tame them? The best way to tame wild gliders is to wear them as much as possible. You can do this by carrying them in a pouch and gently stroking it when they begin to crab, they may protest at first but will soon become accoustomed to your touch and the sound of your voice, from their you progress to reaching into the pouch and stroking them while they sleep. Oh and the best way to get them into the pouch is to put the pouch into their cage and while they are in it sleeping you just take them out of the cage pouch and all. Another way to wear them is the two shirt method. Wear one T-shirt inside of a long sleeved shirt and then tuck them both in and let the gliders run around between the two shirts like being in a surrogate pouch. They will adjust to your movements, and your scent and your voice much quicker this way. Place a piece of cloth with your scent on it into their nest in the cage. Offer them treats such as grapes, but make them come to you to get the treat. Patience and lots of love will go a long way towards taming the gliders.
