You should begin to see a foot, or a leg, or the tail protruding from the pouch soon, when you do it will not be much longer before the baby/babies are oop. They are probably hissing because she is big and uncomfortable and doesn't really want to be bothered right now and he is probable fussing over her. This will more than likely stop after the baby/babies are oop.
