: I just got two SG's. I am confindent that they will become
: great pets- I just advice on how??? They are brown. Is that
: weird? Every web-site has them as grey and black. They are
: nine months old, both male. I know that their cage is big
: enough and their food is right. I have tried offering them
: mealworms and fruit and then gently petting them and talking
: to them while they eat. However, they try to bite me if I
: am holding a piece of fruit after they take the first bite.
: Please HELP!!!!
: Thanks a lot in advance! :)!

Where did you get your SGs?

DO NOT Take them back... I thnk that you can work with them and make them great pets!!!

I also have 1 brown female and 2 other gray SGs, they get along just fine.

Can you hold them at all or at least get ahold of them to put them in a pocket?

If you can, get a sweat type long sleeve shirt that has the pocket in the front that goes all the way through. It may also have a hood. Anyway, get the little guys in there late in the AM when they are sleepy and carry them with you all day long. Do this for several weeks and occasionally during the day, place bits of fruit or other favorites in the pouch (pocket). They will get used to your voice and smell and start to trust you as their tree. See my site for more info from others...
