Man, you were right. Those folks just dont care.

I asked to see one of the babies. The idiot that helped me just up-ended the little
pouch and unceremoniuosly dumped out the contents, instead of just carefully reaching
inside to gently pick out a baby. JEEZ !! He said that he didnt want to get bit or
scare them.

Then he proceeded to chase a baby around the inside of the cage until he caught her.
Once he had her, she tried her hardest to get away. I would have too if someone were gripping
my torso so tight I couldnt breath. The more she struggled the harder he gripped her.

Poor baby. I was starting to get as upset as she was.

When she did manage to wiggle free and jump to his shirt, the guy flipped out (so much for not scaring them).
So I reached out and carefully cupped her to me. She crabbed a little bit, then calmed down, then I put
her in my pocket. No problem. And there was CERTAINLY no reason to be so rough. After a little
bit, I put her back in the cage and she let me pet her and pick her back up.

The petstore guy was TOTALLY amazed.

Nothing amazing about it. He's just an idiot. Had I know he had NEVER handled
gliders before that day, I would never have had him help me.

If I had the money, I would have rescued each of them.

I REALLY REALLY hope you have better luck than I did.
