The only time I've ever looked for SG's in a petshop was just before I got my first, Gia. Now that you mention this, I seem to recall all the petshop SG's I've ever seen have been in the bottom of a cage with no shelter.

I suggest finding a good breeder. "GOOD" being a subjective word I realize. But it's possible.
