The substrait should be cleaned out daily, this is the litter in the bottom of the cage. The cage itself should be cleaned weekly and a good scrub down of the cage at least monthly.

Females are generally mature at 8 to 10 months of age, however I do know of one female that had babies in pouch when she herself was only 3 months oop. Her babies did not survive. I would not pair them together until you are ready for her to breed.
