I had a adult glider that did not bark until I put another glider with him.
My 8 week old glider barks at night and quite loudly for being so young.
I really think that mine at least are barking because they are letting the other glider know where their at and I think they want them to come out their house and play. I hope this helps answer your question.

: My husband and I got our baby three weeks ago and she is almost 4 months old. She's a sweetheart and a good girl but my question is why doesn't she bark at night like I've read about them? She did bark last night for the first time but only for a few seconds. Is it because she's still young or because she's the only glider we have?
