: : I'm considering adopting a pair of sugar gliders, but I spoke with Outback Pets in Austin and they said gliders and ferrets don't mix. According to the man I spoke with, my ferret will try to eat the gliders. My ferret is so sweet, that's hard to imagine.

: : I have 2 cats, but I think they're too snooty to bother the gliders. One of them plays with the ferret and the other doesn't play with anyone, so I'm not worried so much about the cats. Does anyone out there live with sugar gliders and ferrets? How do they get along? Is this really a bad idea? Any comments will be appreciated.
: : Thanks,

: I have two ferrets and I want a sugar glider but I would not trust them together because I got a baby chicken and the ferret got a hold of her lucky for me I got the chicken out of my ferrets mouth in time to help her but a sugar glider is really different smaller and more motive and that means more timpting (spelling?)
danya!
Don't do it! domestic ferrets of course eat only ferret food but it is their natural instinct to eat mice, chickens and other small animals like gliders! ferrets and gliders definately don't mix!
