Yes it is possible, females generally become sexually mature at about 8 to 12 months oop and the males generally mature at 12 to 15 months oop. There are exceptions to every rule however and I do know of one female that had babies in pouch when she herself was only 3 months oop, I also know of a male that got his bald spot when he was just 3 months oop.

Also I heard from who only knows where that if a gliger has a runny nose that they may be in heat or pregnat; is this possible? Or can gliders catch a cold?

A runny nose is not a sign of pregnancy nor of having a baby in pouch! It is a sign of a cold or respiratory infection and if you have a glider with a runny nose, watery eyes, difficulty breathing, or making unusual noises while breathing get it to a vet right away!!! As soon as you sense anything that is wrong or different about your glider get it to a vet to be checked. There is no easy way to tell if a glider is ready for breeding or if they are pregnant. About the only thing that you can do is to watch for the bulges in the pouch.
