I am going to be getting a pair of gliders in a few months and am trying to build my own cage to save money. My problem so far has been I can't find 16g plastic coated 1x1/2 inch wire cloth. My hope is to build a cage that is about 5'x3'. I have been able to find 1/2x1/2 galvinized wire, but am a little weary about this. Also if I use wood in the construction I want to coat it with something that will keep urine out of it, but not be toxic to the gliders. I am very interested in any ideas anyone can bring up and any suggestions. Also if anyone knows where I can purchase with kind of wire either on the internet or around florida please tell me. Oh yeah, and lastly...If anyone knows of a cage that fits these dimensions for sale also please get the info to me. Thanks, -Aaron
