: I was wondering what kind of live plants (if any) that could be : put in a sugar glider enclosure. A women suggested to me hibiscus and : ficus. I know from breeding veiled chameleons that if a chameleon : were to bite a leaf on a ficus tree and get some in their eye it can cause : and infection even blindness... same with sugar gliders? They use fake : leaves in a sugar glider enclosure at my local zoo, would this be a better idea? : Thanks to anyone who can clear me up on this topic! Our kids love playing and chewing on and eating the flowers off our hibiscus. I can rarely keep them alive during the winter so I let the gliders have them. They love the flowers and chewing the bark is good for them.
