: How long do young gliders sleep? My son received one for a gift, he was always crabbing but since he was handeled much, Oscar is more friendly. He sleeps a lot. Is this normal? With mine I have found that young gliders , as with infants sleep more than adult gliders do,and there is really no set amount of time for sleeping.By nature gliders are nocturnal, sleeping mostly in daytime and playing at night, however you will find that even the adults dont always stay up all night, you will sometimes find them napping at night as well.As your young glider matures you will find him sleeping less and playing more.
