: :I took out the peanuts what else should i have in there?? What do u offer ur glier(s)? i put a hard boild egg in his cage too when should i take out the fruits and veggies and egg?? tomorrow morning?? he seems to like the frozen veggies i gave him too (carrots broccolie and coliflower) should i leave him the sunflower seeds?
: :Should i tottaly eleminate cat food?? : : No that is not real bad, gliders can have some citrus fruits on rare occasion but it is not a good idea to give them very much or very often. Do not let that instance concern you. : :what fruits do u feed urs?? : : :i have heard to give him fresh fruits along with acu-feed no???? and i dont have but a little sample right now untill i can get more what should he eat? and is 2 oz= 1/4 cup? lol i feel stupid and when i do this is all i feed him every day?? if so wont he get bored with it?? : :you do not want to leave food in it's cage for a week. Even with the accu-feed you want to offer fresh food daily. : :heh i didnt mean leave it in his cage for a week, i meant a daily plan to feed him for ex. mon 1/4 cup fruit 2 oz acu-feed etc : : This is because you and his home are all new to him. Take him out of his cage daily, wear him in a pouch or in your pocket, or try the two shirt method. Put on a T-shirt and then a long sleeved shirt on over that and tuck them both in. Let your glider run around between the two shirts. Put some material that has your scent on it into his nest to allow him to get use to your scent. Try to avoid socks as some gliders have lost life and limb to pulled strings from socks. : : i tried that shirt thingy lol he got pissed at first i unhooked his little sleep bag thingy i made and put it in my shirt hoping he would crawl out of it, but the second i touch his bag he starts growling at me(u know what i mean) he does this anytime he is in his nest box or the other bag thingy and i get too close too him but when hes out of them hes fine well back to my story... and i put it in my shirt man he growled for a straight 5 mins till i put him back in his cage hehe when i coaxed him out of his bag in the cage i got him to crawl out onto the door of the cage i picked him up (and surprisingly he didnt bite) and started to put him in my shirt and he grabbed on the neck of my shirt and crawled out quick soo i tried agai this time getting him in and shit he got pissed!!! he jumped out of my shirt and jumped and hit my dresser and fell on one of my speakers i finally caught him and got him back in the cage. maybe i should give him a day or two lol but its sooo hard hes just SOOOO DAMN CUTE!!!! but he doesnt seem to stay mad at me for long well ill shut up now =0) : god i cant stop rambling : OH YEAH u sed socks arent good for them??? at first i had put one in there then i noticed he was at the bottom of it and i thought he was stuck so i attempted to get him out and he wasnt happy when i took it out (good thing i did) then i put a wash cloth in instead he just kept trying to pull it out of the box so now its empty and i dont know if i should put anything in there i made him a "pouch" thingy out of a hand towel is that okay?
