I've carried them in the pouch, I've been so patient - how long do they take to become friendly??? I know one lady that took 7 months to tame her glider,,,he is a real sweety now. Also, should I let them out in their room? Will I be able to catch them, and will they chew wires, ie. the t.v or computer? You can let them out if you have glider proofed the room. That means eliminating all possible hazards such as covering electrical outlets, covering any exposed wires, covering anything and everything that contains water. Make sure that there are no colored papers laying around. Remove any house plants from the area that may be toxic. Cover any holes or drains that may be in the room where they are to roam. It may be difficult for you to catch them at first so might I recommend that you take them to a small room such as the bathroom. You can play with them in there, please put away any and all chemicals,,,tooth paste, medicines, soaps, perfumes, etc...Try this first until they gain some trust in you and are not so hard to retrieve. Somebody help! I hope that this helps.
