I used my roommate's machine to try to view it and it couldn't handle the compression. I also did some video captures and his machine was able to view that with some compressions I used. It wouldn't be hard to find a patch since I'm using windows 98, but I would need to know what compression type (the error didn't tell me).

When I get back home, I will load it onto my machine and see if I can view it there and which compression it uses.
As far as which is the best, indeo 4 was of the ones I tried (however, with wavelet compression being relatively new, I'm sure better compression schemes are being thought up)
