I have 7 and none of them chew on the wood in their cages. They do not seem to look for an escape, they just play and beg treats. Best of luck with your cage! One more addition to my cage plans. I will have one shelf on the very top to store food, supplies, etc. This was a must, since the braces for the shelf is built into the wall fairly well. Anyhow, it will still give the gliders plenty of climbing room. I will be putting on some contact paper or bathroom-type wallpaper on the walls inside. There is a large wooden coat rack which I am keeping and would allow an easy way to attach large pieces of rope to for the gliders to climb up and down on. Since I plan on starting out with two babies, the closet will be plenty of room. Does this idea sound ok to everyone?
