: Hello everyone ! I was messing around in the kitchen the other day, trying to figure out a good way to give Gwen her Repto-cal, because she usually just brushes it off her food and then eats . But anywho, my dad brought home some apple juice, and I took a cup of that, a tablespoon of Repto-cal, and a teaspoon of sugar, and shook it all up in an empty soda bottle . Gwenny loved it!! Now I give her about a tablespoon of it a night.
: I just thought I'd share with everyone.

Are these measurements correct? That sounds like way too much Repto-cal. According to your directions you would be giving her over 1/8 tsp Repto-cal every night! A calcium supplement should only be given twice a week at most and only a tiny pinch. Repto-cal contains vitamin A which is too easy to overdose on if given everyday. Too much calcium is also a bad thing. For a calcium supplement, Rep Cal is a much better choice. It is in a white jar with a pink label and contains ONLY calcium and vitamin D3. You can mix a small pinch in honey once a week and that is all that is necessary.
A multi-vitamin supplement you can use in addition to Rep Cal is Chapparal Zoological Vitamins (Glider Booster, Glide-a-mins) once or twice a week (just a pinch.)
