My female is a banshee when scared, but my Joey boy is pathetic when scared, he freezes up, shakes and moves so so slow, sometimes staying still for ages - I've thought he was sick before I got to know his habits. Let us know what happens.. : I just got my first glider today...a 12 week old female. I got her back to my house and into her cage. She seemed very happy; exploring and checking everything out. She let me hold her and she ate some fruit. I cam into the room about an hour ago and saw her on the cage floor. She looked extremely sick. Her head is on the ground and she only moves in quick bursts as if she is just trying to muster enough energy to move. I picked her up and put in her nest box and she just stayed in the same position I put her in...not moving. I just brought her home today and I was wondering if stress could be the problem or if it could be something else. Please help...the only vet in town is closed because of a broken water pipe and for the few hours I have had her I have fell in love with the little thing.
