Hi mrglider, I am here but life is busy as I am just buying a new house, of course we went around measuring up all houses to make sure they were pet compatible. The house has a screened back porch which I look forward to letting the glider loose in, in the summer months!
But as to the matter of a untamed glider. From everything I have heard and seen an untamed glider will not turn a tamed one wild but vice versa. the untamed one starts to see taht the partner is not scared of these big creatures. However I wouldnt advise a novice to get a untamed animal. I firmly believe that all gliders can and will tame down but it takes experience, time, love and lots of patince while they bite the hell out of you (yes to the point where you are bleeding). I have never let my gliders just stay in the cage instead i have made tehm stay on either my husband or myself picking them up when they jump off (and yes getting bitten). All the bonding tips written work with untame gliders but more slowly and with more pain to the owner. Bourbon and clara both have wonderful tips on their pages (both links on glidernet plus many others- http://www.glider.buffnet.net).
So Jinxet if you feel glider wise I think you could do it- but not easily. You will have a lot of work but you could save this glider from being unwanted. You wont screw up your baby but can you give this glider the love and time it needs. I hope the answer is yes and if so congratulations. good luck whatever you decide.

: : Hey everyone,
: : I have an odd situation and i am pretty sure what I am going to do but I'd like some imput.
: : I have a 6 month old Glider I have had her since she was 5 weeks oop.Now the question...
: : A Friend of mine got a glider for free, apparently the glider had not been handaled and is now 3 months old she took it thinking she could work w/ it...
: : well she couldn't ,she had no clue what she was getting into..I have offered to take the glider but am not sure of the reaction on Trixy's part...wil she become less attached to me or agressive, will she be more inclined to hanging out with the other glider instead of me???
: : I want to rescue him but I don't want to end up w/ a serious mess.Yes i do want to eventually cage them together as my breeders license should be coming in any day now...
: : thankyoui for any help you can give.
: : Whitney
: Whitnet,
: I will let jane walk you through this one.Let me know how you come out.One other thing thet do get a little better with age for some reason when a baby gets mean on me and bites sometime they will calm down with age.sometime.
