Dave,
I am so sorry this happened. I'm not a glider expert or anything, but it seems that there must have been something wrong with her before you ever brought her home. When I had had Eos a couple of days, she got sick and I had to take her back to the breeder...I didn't know if she would be okay, and that was a terrible experience. I can't imagine losing one - it takes no time at all to get attached. Please know that you didn't do anything wrong. When you are ready, maybe try again and get a glider from a different source.
