In my opinion there are a lot of things that gliders should not eat like foods with more phosphates than calcium, any houseplant poisonous or not, and foods containing lots of fat. When I first started with gliders I read Caroline MacPherson's book (Barrons Press) and have since given a copy to my vet who thought that it was a very concise and informative book. It even has a chart of common sugarglider foods and the amounts of calcium and phosphorous in each of them so that you can make informed decisions about food. Like I said this is just my opinion and we all know how many of them there are out there concerning this issue. Good Luck, Richard.
