Yes, Eos does this too. I read somewhere that gliders in the wild will always do this - chew up for moisture and spit out the pulp. She does seem to get some of it down, though, and only spits out certain foods. I wonder - is Brisky's the only thing you are feeding your SG? If so, you might want to add other things, too, to make sure he is getting the nutrition. As far as I know (and someone may correct me) you can't tell if your SG has hind leg unless they start dragging their legs - then it's too late. Evidently, weight is not a good measure of whether they are malnourished.

: Does the food she spits out look like little half moons?
: If so,EVERY one of my gliders do this as well, AS far as telling if this is a bad thing, I dont really know. I have often wondered why gliders do this, and at first I thought it was mine only, then I got a male from a family and it was doing the same thing. Also my newly weaned babies do this as well.
: I dont think its anything to worry about, all my gliders are really healthy and have good body weight, yet every time I take there dishes out they are ALWAYS full of the half moons!
: Let me know,I would love to hear that someone else wondered about this too.
