: I have two young male sugargliders. recently, whenever I : wake up one of them, there is a fleshy strip hanging out : of his rear end, which i am assuming is his genitalia. His mood : has also changed dramatically- he sleeps much more, even : late at night, mainly only leaving his nest to eat. he also : used to be much more personable, and now it is tough to get him : out of the cage to play, when before he used to jump out as : soon as you opened the door. He had a checkup about a month : ago, and I'm going to take him in again. It's almost as if : he's going through sugarglider puberty. Is this possible? Joel,
Yes ... I have 4 gliders, 3 female and 1 male .. one night I saw something hanging out and thought he had worms .. I did panic a little (what do you give something that small for worms???) but when I went back into their room it had shrunk Wasn't he lucky I was going to try and pull it out ... it was then I realized what a bifurcated genitalia was Janet
