When I bought my first glider, the lady said that two is better than one for the following reason: Companionship. In the situation where you only have one, they require alot of attention. They get lonely and depressed if they do not get enough companionship. I was told, that if there was more than one glider, they get some companionship from each other, for the times when I am not able to take them out for a few hours. Its worked out great.

I have noticed though, the female is still abit skiddish, and shy, but the male isn't. He bonded me and let me handle him from day one. She still is a bit shy. She rarely comes to me, and generally runs from me. However, she is getting better with time.
