I have a pair of blunt tipped forceps I use to feed all my animals crickets (frogs, salamanders, lizards not just the gliders.) I don't have to touch the the bugs at all. If you can't find forceps, a pair of tweezers with rounded ends will do.
I also keep a supply of freeze dried crickets & mealworms on hand so I still have some if I run out of live ones. Freeze-dried are much less "yucky" and are great for people that just can't deal with live insects.
