Gliders are very vocal with a wide range of sounds that they can make. Barking being just one of them and even with a night light on in my room they will still bark. Some nights more than others. Unless the noise really gets to be bothersome I don't think you have cause for concern and once it does the concern will be for you and your family and the lack of sleep. :o)
