I am the same way. I bought something similar to a fanny pack also because all the "carrying pouches" are too feminine. I just lined the inside with felt type material to keep them warm, and to make it abit more comfortable.

As far as the zoo: 1 free roaming iguana, 1 blue tongue skink, 1 bearded dragon, 1 mexican black kingsnake.
