I saw that on the UofTaz website too.
'never have seen any other info about it though.
I mix a small amount of bee pollen in my glider's leadbeaters mix every other batch and they don't seem to mind and eat the mix as usual.
When I sprinkle it on they seem to leave it behind.
I use bee pollen purchased from a health food store.

Sugar Glider Life and Times

: I was reading on a University of Tasmania website that recent fecal exams of wild sugar gliders have revealed that they get a large part of their protein from pollen. Apparently the fecal exams turned up at least 20 different types of pollen which under closer examination were found to have had all of their protein extracted . This made me wonder if it might be a good idea to sprinkle some bee pollen on their food as a high protein low (or non) fat natural supplement. Any ideas? Richard
