I breed my own mice to feed to my gliders. That way, I know that the mice are healthy. We don't feed them live though, we euthanize them first. I haven't had any problem with illness or injury due to feeding the mice. I know it sounds kind of gross, bur the gliders really love them, and they are a great source of calcium and other vitamins and minerals.
