Message: We've found a breeder in Ontario, Canada to supply us with a second sugar glider. We decided on a second sg, because we think that our sg, Willie, must be lonely spending his waking hours (while we're asleep) all alone. The breeder has a 2 year old female available now, and a waiting list for joey's. Here's my question: Is an adult female the best choice for our one year old, neutered male? Is there a chance that our male and the adult female will not bond? If so, how great a chance? Are there arguments for or against getting a joey instead? Thanks for any insights you can offer.
