I am one of those that have recently switched to the crown royal bag I have mine pinned to the inside of my flannel, which will change for the summer. But they are really comfortable in there. If you take the bag or pouch that you plan on using and put your mouth and nose on it and try to breath you will find they get plenty of air through the material. I also don't seal the top up. It is deep enough for them to feel secure and dark enough they sleep peaceful, And the top is available for me to check in on them as often as I wish without disturbing them. : I really want to carry my "Bicho" with me more often. He was not very tame when I rescued him. But he has never bitten me as his former owners say that he did with them. I read that several people use Crown Royal bags or other similar "pouches". I am always so worried that he won't be getting enough air to breath. I guess I am relating it to my own experience of not being able to sleep with even as little as a sheet over my face without feeling like I'm suffocating. Sooooooo...is it necessary to have a pouch with neting or airholes of some sort or am I just over-worried? He doesn't like pockets either.
