Hi Pam, Also, I'm guessing Goose is pretty young...and they sleep a great deal when young. Even as grown ups they will go through eating cycles...eating much less for a few days, then a lot. I'd say if you're really still worried about him, it never hurts to call the vet or take him to a vet. : I think that there might be something wrong with Goose. I've had Goose for about a month and a half, and I just recently took him on vacation. I knew it wasn't the best thing in the world for him, but neither is finding a babysitter for 2 weeks. He had just started to bond with me before the trip and I didn't want him to feel uncomfortable with someone for 2 weeks. I figured since we were driving he would be ok. Well, I don't know now if he's sick or depressed or just trying to settle back in, but I am really concerned. We just got back home on Wed., so I thought that I would give him about 2 days to settle in without really disturbing him. Well, he seems to be sleeping more, he seems very lethargic, I don't really see him play at all, and he isn't eating as much. When I take him out he's very skiddish, and freaked out a little yesterday. I don't know if he is just getting readjusted to his home or what, but I am very concerned. If anyone has any thoughts on this matter, please share them with me. I am not ready to give up on him, so I would love any thoughts you might have on what could be the problem. Thank you very much.
