: Yes Bourban and Clara, keep your discussion going, I pretty much do what Bourban does as far as feeding, when I started the gliderade I cut the repcal in 1/2. I have omnivore pellets in at all times just incase they want something hard to chew on. As far as over the counter food for Loris, that is similar to the gliderade, that is fed to them as a total diet, as their toungue is very thin, similar to a humming bird. Point I guess is why not Gliderade as a complete diet? Just a pondering question? I havent been into this very long, I like everyone else is looking for the easiest but in the best interest of the gliders. Plus for me this small town living makes it hard to find all the fresh vegies or fruits, when temps run 15 above to 30 below for 3 months or better!

Gliderade is not a complete diet like it is for Lorikeets because sugar gliders eat other things in the wild besides nectar and pollen.
They also eat lots of insects and anything else they happen to find. Sugar gliders are very opportunistic.
