: You wanted to know how I potty trained my glider...I

: got her from a breeder when she was just separated

: from her mom, so getting a baby probably helps. Each

: time I take her out of her pocket or cage, I set her

: immediately on newspaper. At first, I had to keep

: setting her on the paper over and over because she would

: run off the edge, but eventually she learned that she

: was supposed to potty. (Sometimes this went on for

: several minutes) Now she goes before she ever

: tries to leave the paper. She still has a few accidents,

: but not too many.

: My sister also has a glider and she handles it a different

: way. Before she lets her baby run around, she takes a

: very soft cloth and stimulates her opening until the baby

: goes on the cloth.

: Hope this helps! This was one of my biggest concerns

: before getting a SG but it has worked out fine...you just

: have to be consistent and patient :)

: Happy glidering!

I do the samething with my male glider Pico and he only has a few accidents. You just need to do it over and over again until they get the hint. They are not dumb animals, which is a blessing! :) It took me a week to get Pico to go on a paper towel but it is worth it!
