Mine did that at first, and still does it when new people are around, because infact, he is smelling. Being the psychotically observant and pampering pet owner that I am, I noticed it immediately and called my breeder. He told me that he wasn't shivering at all, but sniffing, and checking out his new territory. I stopped by a few days later at the breeder's house and showed him what I meant, just to be sure. He said for sure, he was just sniffing around. He quits after a minute or two once he gets an idea of his "Olfactory environment." So never fear!! Kim
