Milo's nesting house is a little log cabin (hamster habitat). It sets on a ledge high in the corner of his cage. Gliders like to be high up :) I have heard of using all kinds of things for nesting materials. I use socks for Milo. I know this sounds strange, but I put them in his cabin....after I have worn them for a little while. He likes that because it smells like me :>
If you can afford it, get one of the cages that has a coating over the wire. Also, keep his food and water up high too.

: Hi again. I will be building a cage for my soon to be sugar glider and I was wondering what everyone has found to be the best type of nest box and where to get them. Secondly, where do you place them in the cage? I have read that it is best to place them high in the cage but this poses the problem of how to get the glider out since most I have seen open at the top. I have also seen a couple that mount on the outside and I guess that would solve the problem as well. Just curious to hear others opinions. Thanks.
