SG's seem to be less protective over a pouch than the nest box. I started with the box and have changed to a pouch. It has helped me alot. You could alway put a pocket Tee in there and use it. make sure you worn it a couple of times so that they get your sent. Than you can take the SG out and put on the shirt, it should helpwith the bonding process.. I am not sure if I will put the box back in or not, when they start breeding. Place it near the top of the cage..along with the food like suggested... JO : Hi again. I will be building a cage for my soon to be sugar glider and I was wondering what everyone has found to be the best type of nest box and where to get them. Secondly, where do you place them in the cage? I have read that it is best to place them high in the cage but this poses the problem of how to get the glider out since most I have seen open at the top. I have also seen a couple that mount on the outside and I guess that would solve the problem as well. Just curious to hear others opinions. Thanks.
