Hi, this may just be an untrue generalization, but usually when you see gliders for under $150 it's because they are either adults that were not hand-raised as babies, or wild-caught imports. In either case, they do not make the greatest of pets. Price should not be an issue for proper ownership. If it is, then don't buy one! or do the responsible thing and wait until you have a hefty amount saved up... Hope that helped!
